Pūrākaunui Falls
« on: March 31, 2014, 06:44:18 am »

A few days ago Kevin posted a nice picture of a waterfall of New Zealand. I've just made a picture of Pūrākaunui Falls which isn't the biggest but the most iconic waterfall of New Zealand located in the Catlins.

C&C welcomed

No, producing an honest critique, which seems to have become damned rare on here. It's a very pretty picture, but, as Walker Evans once said when presented with a similar photograph, "So what?"

Thank you, Russ! Serious.

... but, as Walker Evans once said when presented with a similar photograph, "So what?"

Been there, seen that and made an decent picture of it. Let's face it, like most of the other members here I'm not a professional but an amateur who likes to travel the world. So I'm a tourist. If I would rate my picture as art I would post them under "But is this art". So what?

;-)
