Nikon focusing issues D600 and D800
« on: March 31, 2014, 04:38:01 am »

I've been having all sorts of inconsistent focussing issues on 2 D600's that are now being looked at by Nikon and a 24-70 2.8 and a 50mm 1.8. The guy at Nikon pro services claimed to have no idea why that would be, Calumet say they've never heard of such a thing.. I spoke to 2 different assistants in 2 different countries that work with lots of people who shoot Nikons and they all have problems, generally they just send them back to Nikon and they come back fixed but all the pros know about it but Nikon is keeping quiet. I guess they assume that most people won't pick up on it, it's easy to think that you just missed focus on every 15th shot or whatever then you test it and it seems fine so you forget about it. I'm pretty unhappy about this. I just wan't reliable equipment that works. If I have to pay more for it I don't care but it just has to work..
