Ilford Printer Profiles
« on: March 28, 2014, 09:00:15 pm »

As many have discovered, Ilford's website no longer permits profile downloads. I know many of us still have Ilford paper and stores still have it on their shelves so I think sharing the profiles we have is a good idea.

I have put a page on my fine art website (The Singular Image) where we can post the Ilford profiles. I have posted all I have for the Canon PRO 100. If you have profiles for other printers you would like to share, e-mail them to me at myrsphoto@gmail.com and I'll get them posted.

I hope this benefits many of us. Enjoy!

Update: Our collection of Ilford profiles is growing. I have received some for the Epson 3880 and a large set for the Epson 3800. My thanks to those who have contributed. Please keep them coming and we'll have a good resource for however long the Ilford papers last.

Here is the direct address for the profile pagehttp://singular.myrsphoto.com/ilford-printer-profiles/. Or you can just go to my website http://singular.myrsphoto.com and click on the Ilford Profiles tab.

At least the one profile I looked at was built with Argyll, a product I don't use. I'm wondering if anyone knows what their licensing would be in respect to sharing? It's interesting this is seen in the copyright tag: ILFORD Imaging Switzerland GmbH

Theoretically, ArgyllCMS code may be available for commercial licensing:
http://www.argyllcms.com/commercialuse.html

On the other hand ArgyllCMS itself is under GNU license:
