Hi guys
Here is a photo of the old family farm sheds in Skreen, County Sligo where I grew up. It's a very personal image. I used to play there. I had my own vegetable garden plot just behind the trees. Although farming was never my thing I used to also sometimes help out with my dad and brother. Neither are with us now. It’s also where my brother passed away.
I visited Sligo at Christmas and visited my neighbours. On the way back I looked down the field and was struck by the scene. The lone light illuminated the site beautifully but it all looked somewhat sad. I guess it reflects how I feel about the place.
