I like the composition, with the line of the Hill leading to the house, and the soft pastel colours.

It's a relaxing image, with soft light, smooth curves. It might have the big initial Wow factor but I like it very much.

It tugs at the heart strings for anyone (like me) who has been to Iceland.
In 1974 I photographed (B&W only) a lovely abandoned farm in a valley near Akureyri. I'll try to find it and scan it to post.
