i1 Display 2 and Mavericks
« on: March 25, 2014, 09:52:18 am »

I have an iMac at work that I just upgraded to Mavericks. Is there any way to get an older i1 Display2 to work with it? It works on my home PC (Windows 8), and would hate to spend money on a new profiler.

I should add, I have Parallels running Windows 7, so not sure if I could load the software in there and calibrate through parallels to create a profile for the Mac OS.

Thanks!

The i1Display-2 I own runs fine under Mavericks. At least with SpectraView so I'd expect i1Profiler. Is the later what you're using? What's not working?

i1Profiler won't recognize it, and it isn't in the list of supported devices. What is Spectraview?

EDIT: SpectraView I assume is the software for NEC monitors.

i1P does on this end. Version 1.5.0, XRD (that POS) is version 2.3.2.18.
SpectraView is the software used to calibrate NEC displays, it too recognizes the i1Display-2 on this end.

Well, for one, everything says demo on it...

And when I have the device connected, it keeps telling me nothing is connected. Maybe I need to get a license from them somehow?
