OK, a couple of mine:

I usually don't go for British humor, but this one always brings a chuckle to me:  Mrs Brown gets a bikini wax:

Jerry Lewis on the typewriter from "Who's minding the store?".  One of the great physical comedians:

Victor Borge - phonetic punctuation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bpIbdZhrzA And just about anything with Tim Conway from the Carol Burnette show.

For movies: definitely Danny Kaye.

Del boy at the bar - classic!
Not really a sketch as such, to really appreciate it you need to see the whole build up. A wonderful performance from David, just the single take too.

Wish I'd had a quid for every view that shot has had, I'd be a much richer man now ;-)

Ah, thank you for that, Mike.  I'd listened to his comedy on old LP albums my parents had, and was lucky enough to see him perform live one time in Chicago.  The world truly became a less funny place when he died.

The Two Ronnies - Four Candles

Not sure how well the humour works in other countries but always has me in tears!

Another vote for Four Candles/Fork Handles.

Probably followed by the Dead Parrot Sketch from Python.
