What version of i1P? As far as this dog is concerned, it's 1.5.0 and still filled with bugs but I've not had any issue as you describe nor as yet have any customers. And I'll bet you dollars to donuts it's an X-rite bug, not Adobe's.

The problem has existed since i1P 1.3 and I've already had them talk to each other. The tags are there and Adobe isn't sure why they aren't showing up. It might be related to something XRite is doing but why would Adobe display them in the other dialog boxes and not the Print dialog? No one really knows but lots of eyes are on it.

I'm not suggesting a problem doesn't exist, I've never seen it nor have my customers. I've built literally hundreds of RGB profiles since that build.

IF I were not done helping X-rite try to fix their dysfunctional mess of a software process, I'd suggest you send me some of the profiles so we can see what specifically is the cause. And I'm pretty sure it's X-rite's fault here but I'll ask: does this issue show up in any other software package? Still, I'd be happy to try rebuilding a profile on this end just to see what happens but if as I suspect, it's an X-rite issue, we can pretty much forget about a fix anytime soon as history (a bug since 1.3) suggests.

That's a question specifically for Dave P. You've talked to him?

I'm enjoying this conversation but confess you guys are getting over my pay grade!

I did try converting an image to grayscale and then converting the profile to gamma 2.2. This did not change the list of available print profiles. In the Convert to Profile / Destination Space, the full list of profiles is present. I still don't know how to get them to show up in the printer profile selections, though.

I really enjoy using old primes on my m4/3 camera. There's something about having to choose your aperture and actually focusing your camera that makes it so much more like... like... PHOTOGRAPHY!
