The first one is a fine image but the rest of them don't quite make it. :)

+1. #2 is a good try, but the blowouts kill it. The rest are standard tourist shots.

Most tourists don't shoot black and white anymore, so an imitation red filter in PhotoShop might make your E23rd St. shot art.

#1 is my favorite.

Peter,on #2,what is the refection of?...the branches of a tree??..not sure what I'm looking at?
All very good.... IMHO.
I live & work in NYC,sometimes I find it ,one of the most difficult places to take good images

...perceptual flashes of contemplative colour awareness,  always welcome in encouragement to move past the looking and allowing ourselves to see without any further agenda...if it is the record of the moment that allows the strengthening, keep the camera as the extension of the eye often. Jay M. would understand these...
