Question re Color Temperature Slider...
« on: March 07, 2014, 06:13:18 am »

This is probably screamingly obvious, but I'm tired and I'll ask anyway... ;)

Flash is, say, 5500-6000 (cool) and tungsten is, say, 3200-3400 (warm).

If I shoot with flash and the Temperature slider says, say, 5600, and I slide it to the left (lower value), why does the picture get cooler, not warmer?

I don't really care, I just want to know.

Thanks as always.

Because it would then compensate for the warmer light.

You talking about Lightroom's Tint/Temp slider? You're compensating or moving in the opposite direction, hence the backwards behavior.
