Sometimes, blue sky can be depressing and with this weather, you couldn't find a better day to take that photo.

Thank you, Christoph for your opinion. I cropped the road off and made it into a short panorama, but now it looks kind of bland. Maybe I'll have to make the birds bigger.

Yes - probably it would require a re-take.
The birds are too small to really play role for me.
I find the strongest feature is this gorgeous blue-orange color contrast.
