Love the concept but not a fan of the composition or the processing.
Would like to see the brightness decreased in the light areas. Less sharpening and maybe contrast?

Thanks all! You know I live in Germany and work on Ramstein Air Force base (I'm retired from the Air Force but still work...people to feed ;) ) Anyway, my wife is set up and we are selling at the mall on base. There are over 25,000 military members and family in the local area. Over the last year our sales have grown and that is good. But one thing that really makes me scratch my head are the sales. I don't have the picture out that I posted. Why? Because I doubt anyone would buy it. What people want here is structure. For example, a church, a castle, a statue . And I sell mostly B&W (my passion). Pure landscapes even exceptional landscapes...forget it!

I think I have some decent landscape captures. I just find it frustrating people don't buy them. I hope when we move back to the states this year we find a more "receptive" audience. My rant for the day.

Mark, you have a great eye, and I suspect that many of your photographs appeal greatly to other photographers, like us on LuLa, who are less likely to actually buy prints from other photographers than is the general public.

I don't know whether your target audience in Ramstein is locals (ie Germans) or US citizens but pure landscape photography is not as well considered in Europe (vs the States).

Nicely done, Mark. Definitely an 'other world' feel to it.
