PS CC Work Canvas sizing
« on: February 16, 2014, 01:39:42 pm »

Hello,
I just upgraded from CS3 to PS CC and am generally happy with everything. One issue for me is the size of the working panel outside the image. In CS 3, if I zoom to 200% to check noise and work on "floaters", scrolling all the way left or right, or up and down, takes me to the corner of the image itself and no further. In CC, so far, if I scroll to image ends, the scroll is happy to go much further into my gray background. I don't need this extra space and it complicates scrolling motions. Is there a way in preferences in CC to revert to the condition described above for CS3?
Thanks for any thoughts,
Bill

Yes, play with the window options. I think it's called 'float in window' or some such. Takes you back to the view you are familiar with. I use it regularly for the same purpose: cleanup. I like to be able to scroll around in regular chunks using the bars.
