Cape Meares
« on: February 02, 2014, 11:23:38 am »

This was my first trip to the Oregon coast. Early spring, overcast the entire day. A rain-soaked gale ripping right up off of the water.

Critiques encouraged.

I also find interesting how you dealt with the foreground.
Usually this kind of foreground is not my thing,
but your sparse use of it as a sort of lower image boundary works, I think.

A beautiful spot - I've stayed in Netarts where one can see the 3 capes.  Nice job with the fog and water running.  I would prefer not to have the heath in the foreground, but better that then you falling into the Pacific.

Good mood in the photo. As it is, I find the foreground intrusive, perhaps it should have a bit more of it. or none at all.
