Off to breakfast
« on: February 01, 2014, 03:23:43 pm »

I spent my annual six days in the Kawarthas with our Gr 10 class for the winter portion of our Aquatic & Terrestrial Ecosystems course. Winter really is the most beautiful of seasons when you can get out of the city and enjoy the snow.

The photo was from our first morning: 7:46am and –29°C (–20°F) with snow and blowing snow. Students were heading down to the dining hall for breakfast.

Nice. I hope you were inside the dining hall shooting through a window. We haven't gotten below -9F where I am this winter, but that's cold enough for me.

It looks indeed like -29.
As they say, you have to make the hay while the sun shines.
