IMO the balance of the shot is all wrong. The trees and grasses along the shore in the distance have been brightened quite significantly. The sun appears to be below the horizon behind the trees. So it doesn't make sense that the trees appear so bright HDR or not. Also because the sun is so low, it makes the brighter upper part of the sky conflict with the darker saturated orange/red part of the sky above the horizon.
Just my opinion of course
