Driftwood and rock
« on: January 21, 2014, 07:51:45 pm »

Rocks and dead trees are a favorite subject of mine. Here they are combined. It looks like the tree grew around the rock before becoming driftwood. Comments?

Looks like a perfect subject for rich, warm b&w tonalities?

It is a classic photographer's photograph. Plenty of detail there. As  Slobodan said - try a toned B&W.

I agree with Slobodan and Terry. Do try a BW conversion.

Thanks for the comments all. I will try a B&W conversion, but not tonight. I'm tired. Hopefully I'll have some time tomorrow.
Thanks again for commenting.

Here is my attempt at a B&W. Let me know what you think. I haven't toned it.

Thanks,
