Still seems to work since there is a bit of "tension" or "dialogue" between the rounded shape of the building and the bend corners in the duct which try to mimic the rounded shapes, but merely succeed to mimic the ventilation raster. Maybe works better if the top of the duct isn't visible giving the impression it continues on => shapes instead of things...

Oscar makes some good points.

Nice one, Oscar, but why the title?

"Carbon Dioxide"

As these things often open in PS (default, for me) I took the liberty of looking at it with a Layer added.

It's a lot more powerful with Input 198 and Output 114.

Of course, your idea may have been entirely for a delicate sense rather than a heavy one.

No, I didn't save the file, just the reading, and for your interest only. Second-guessing, in other words, which I don't like!

Nice one, Oscar, but why the title?

Because for me  the image represents a "balance of elements" even though their "flow" may be slightly disrupted. Light blue obviously represents a flow of oxygen, the complementary color its complementary element. The bubbles perfectly showing that strange middle ground where they are neither chaos, not structure.

If i would be outspoken, i'd be an outspoken Darwinist, not in the sense of anti-creationism, but in the sense that the earth represents a 5 to 20 billion year evolutionary balance, and human beings can't even remotely comprehend what that means. Thinking that we can disrupt that balance just because we find our own intellect a unique and incomprehensible faculty in relation to nature is an extremely odd proposition and overestimation of our importance in the grander scheme of things.

Obviously, this could have been inspired by another thread on these forums, i'll leave the judgement of that at the  discretion of the reader. Let's keep this thread limited to the artistic merits of presented images.

The bubbles btw are a result of the microwave. Ever noticed that if you microwave something and condensation attaches itself to the lid or foil, it are extremely small microbubbles, but then at the slightest touch they immediately form large bubbles, but they are always perfectly random distributed, not touching. In other words, not chaos, but not structure either.

That could mean so many things, i suggest you attach a pict of what you actually see.

Personally i have no qualms whatsoever, zilch nada, with anyone posting a variation of my images, especially to illustrate suggestions.

Personally i liked the subdued colors because a lightish blue represents oxygen quite well, and then the complement follows naturally, but i'm always open to suggestions. (I just don't listen very well...)

Amen, brother! My thoughts exactly. Can I quote you in that other thread?  We are but a grain of sand in the ocean of time.

No, I'm not going to do that. Unless you use Photoshop the numbers mean nada. I really don't like touching anyone else's work.

Why do I think of oysters?

Looks like it'll be an interesting project - don't abandon it.

The water droplets add a lot to this image.

That was the reason to shoot it, without it it wouldn't be much.
