« on: January 07, 2014, 03:38:09 pm »

Up for sale is a very good condition geared head by Photoclam Korea. Its a great device and very well engineered. There are two minor marks on the body, however nothing that will affect performance and functionality.

What is included:
Gear Head
Case
Extra knob ($45 value)

Price new is about $1,250 shipped to US address. I am selling at $950/-
here is good vidoe

(It is similar in design and functionality to Arca Swiss Cube)

I'm curious about this head.
Made in Korea, and not at Arca Swiss.
Is the quality of workmanship the same?
How are the movements?  Smooth?
Does it lock well?
Is it rigid?
I do long exposure photography and need a solid solution.
The price looks okay, but I'd hate to even pay $200 for this if it has any shakiness, or doesn't perform as well as the Arca Swiss.
Thanks!

i own and use one with a studio tripod. using a rollei w/imacon 16 shot back, will put 500 plus exposures on one frame with no problems. knobs have tendency to fall off, slide back on easily.
