 It’s about the recognition, of something we did not know we knew, that compelling flicker of lumine… leaping up, shooting a stake through our heart yet leaving our “surface” just outside that knowledge. Then, caught in flow, sanguine and saline, circulating just outside measure’s reach, cresting in an “other” light on imprinted stain.

Light when least expected, recognition again. For a moment curtain held aside that an other might “know”.  It didn’t come between, grasp out of flow. That’s the only camera we need to know.

Nice one Michael. The light finding its way along the cobbles and blushing the curb, out to magic of which dreams are built.

A bit more for the circulation fogging around within the past few days …just continues to pin fire. The box I carried with me for years with various pinholes to exchange in the slide from time to time were related I am thinking to how its vision (the record of) weren’t messed about with in the same way all the imprints / smudges, materials feeding matrix/camera/me, and what it is I therefore see before me by their addition or removal.
So what “camera” is it that allows ( or prevents us ) to “see”? …and what is it that drags at me, the stray balloon just out of Michael’s image?

There is the sense of form actually consisting of the absence of its materials
… All right then… I’ll leave you to your sensible being while I continue to muck around in this blindly trying to put my finger on what it is that is firing outside my control in this roundabout with no exits...

p.s. The image I have attached below is one of a series over the past three years in this location, most often during early twilights but also days of blanketing fog or slow rain. Although I remain in the general area of this site six to twelve hours per visit, there is something that usually finds me here last before departing.  This, one of the most recent emerged from approximately a week of warm early rains with a pleasantly undefinable  light of fogs during the night hours and in particular a discussion at the time of how immeasurable dimensions, completely outside our awareness and control, contribute involuntary astigmatisms in our "seeing" and attempts at "capture". Thank you for being a sounding board these last few days. It is a powerful gift.

Even today as I see that written "capture" I am slammed by the absurdity of having used it. The sound and taste of it suddenly is something I wish to escape, a deception  that leaves you hungry.
