I agree: Nice one.

Here near Boston it was minus 8 degrees F two nights ago (that's -22 Celsius for the rest of the world), and it's +51F (about +11C) this morning, and raining.

Silk indeed. I like the composition and water texture.
But if this is a longish exposure, why is the waterline so sharp on the left? Just wondering.
I've been looking a lot at correcting distortion lately. This one feels a little left-leaning.

I don't know unless I accidently did it in PP. I did make the foreground water/sand a bit more edgy to bring up some of the texture. I'll go back to the file and have a look.

Is the line the top of a slope in the sand? That'd be my first guess. Nice shot.

It is indeed as you suggest, Brian. The velvety look of the water hides the slope and the ebb and flow of the tide. The waves were just a little more than a foot to two feet. Even though I did enhance that area ever so slightly, it wasn't enough to push a hard line into that part of the frame.

That's a lovely, peaceful shot, Chris. Somehow it doesn't look as cold as it obviously was.
