New iMac monitor is dark compared to Mac Pro and Macbook Pro
« on: January 03, 2014, 10:01:15 am »

hi, my new 21 inch iMac monitor seems to be darker when compared to my other computers. Here is what typically happens; I process a job on my iMac by using C1 Pro and Photoshop until they look good. I then post the images online and when I view them online on my iMac they look fine. Then I look at them online ( or on a HD ) on any other computer ( more often my mac pro with NEC monitor 241 ) and the photos look about 1/2 stop darker. I do not typically use my iMac for processing, just for 'emergencies', but would like to at least get it closer to reality. How should I adjust the iMac to compensate?

Why wouldn't you use it on your iMac??? Besides, you have both devices, why not just do it?
