Nyköpingshus the last day (of 2013)
« on: December 31, 2013, 08:02:58 am »

Hi,

Just shot this image of Nyköpingshus (Nyköping house) an old Castle/Fort in Sweden. The image was shot with Distagon 40/4 on a P45+ and I merged three images to get a wide view.

Best regards
Erik

Your image is half blue water with reflections, and nearly half blueish skies...neither very distinctive. It is very difficult to read any real special characteristics of the buildings as they are so far in the distance...they just read as a nearly generic range of buildings. Maybe the castle/fort has some special or singular aspects...but they aren't readable in this shot. Seems like a location to scout further, but maybe not.

The scene looks very pleasant and innocent. Perhaps you could liven it up with some closeups of the skeletons of the dukes that were presumably starved to death in the dungeon!

Hi,

It is pleasant today. The dungeon is still there but no skeletons. The story says that they starved to death, not very nice. Times are changing, and sometimes I guess we should be thankful for that!

Best regards
Erik
