Keeping an eye on the kids
« on: December 29, 2013, 07:26:38 pm »

On a periodic trip to the Rookery nearby I got a few shots of some of the youngsters.

Too much saturation? Comments and suggestions always welcome.

Yes, saturation is a bit high. That stick sure is annoying. Cloning it out would make for a stronger photo.

Note: I don't make suggestions of cloning out lightly as I know it rankles some who feel photographs should, for some reason, be left "unaltered".

I would clone the stick out, since the photo isn't about the stick.

Here is another taken the same day. Tried to tone down the saturation a bit, but still it seems that what I see on my monitor and what gets displayed back after passing through Flickr/web is somewhat at odds. What I see, on my monitor, and what I print are spot on matches, but web displayed images always seem to be a good bit more saturated than I intend. Anyone have words of wisdom.

Anyway all comments and suggestions gratefully accepted.
