Problem with H4d tethered using thunderbolt to firewire

I bought a h4d 40 couple days ago, today I tethered my camera with my mac retina pro using the thunderbolt to FireWire ,after 20 shots the temp on bottom of the camera digital back start raising , is this a normal situation or it's problem with my camera.  Plzz help

First try to test your camera with firewire (ask somebody who have older macbook pro with firewire) maybe it is something wrong with your camera.

Yes the digital back gets warm when shooting. This is normal what is not normal is depending on how warm/hot it gets. Warm is normal, hot is not.
