Serif End of Year Extravaganza
« on: December 24, 2013, 09:13:01 am »

I have a licensed copy of Serif PagePlus x6, so they send me all their newsletters and junkmail. Today they sent a notice of end of year pricing that is really amazing. The problems is that I'm not familiar with any of their photography software packages. Are any of  them of any value if you already have Lr and CC?

The deals are listed at http://www.serif.com/promo/?mc=ETWEo101. PagePlus x6 is a good package for newsletter or small scale magazine development. At $15 for a license, it would be useful tool to have in your kit.

I really enjoy using old primes on my m4/3 camera. There's something about having to choose your aperture and actually focusing your camera that makes it so much more like... like... PHOTOGRAPHY!

PhotoPlus is a pretty good, well featured image editor, but if you've got Photoshop and Lightroom you probably won't use it in preference to the Adobe heavyweights.
