Good afternoon chaps,
Finally got a HVM to play with, and I'm actually disappointed. Between the lack of Av/Tv shooting as far as I can figure out (is the meter in the HVD 90x?) and the focusing screen being a blurred image it only seems to be useful if you're composing a static shot. Autofocus seems to work, but what I see with or without the eyepiece is just hazed.
Toss in the complete lack of any documentation on their site, I'm thankful I only put $100 into this (the hinge is damaged). Is there a better focus screen that I can use that would at least let me see clearly? Is it an eyepiece bit that I need (I wear contacts, but consider myself rangefinder deficient due to inability to line up the half circles)?
