Whilst it mentioned aqueous based printers, this sort of tool is really designed for solvent based printers which require actual end-user maintenance on a regular basis (cleaning around the head and so forth). Less now than in the past, but still required.
I wouldn't use one on a head under warranty, but it may be useful outside of that.
