The best image I have seen on the site for a long time. The processing is spot on. Before anyone else nitpicks I would point out the light areas on the left could be toned down. However I don't believe that an image can be or should be perfect so it isn't a problem. The eyes really make the image and because they are in the shade then it is all the more remarkable that they stand out.  :)

A great image !! I just rarely shoot without a flash {that old school training back to haunt me :-) }   Even the on-camera flash  < with a diffuser >  is always ready.
