macro in the ice
« on: December 05, 2013, 09:25:42 am »

Normally my macro lens gets set on a shelf during the winter but an ice storm presented some unique (for me) opportunities to use it.
I guess there is always some macro shot waiting out there it's just a little more uncomfortable shooting them this time of year. (-:}

Very cool. We've got a major cold snap in CA over the next several days, and I'm looking forward to trying to get some macro shots myself. Never seen ice like that before, though!

Thanks for the replies. Ice pretty much gone but we have some freezing fog today. Maybe another close up opportunity will pop up!
