Red Rock Canyon

I think every western state has a Red Rock Canyon state park. This one is in Oklahoma. It's a small park (a box canyon that used to serve as stop over for wagon trains going west) but never fails to provide photographs.
Last Saturday we had out of state family visiting and we spent part of the day at Oklahoma's Red Rock Canyon State Park. The leaves had almost all fallen and the red canyon walls are exposed to full view.
Here are a few from the day (minus the family shots). Enjoy. Comments more than welcome.

Nice colours, seems like an interesting place. It's a shame about all the inscriptions, writing, on the rocks.

I think I am beginning to regard the graffiti as modern cave paintings. Seems to be a rather universal human impulse.
