Fall Colors on Merced River 2013

Here is the Merced River this fall in Yosemite. This area in particular was stupendous.  The fall color in Yosemite Valley itself was not that memorable.  Last fall the black oaks really did their thing.

There are some nice colours in the background, but to me the big rock is standing in the way, it's almost blocking the view to where the interest seems to be.
