Photo quantities in Filter search

Recently photo quantities for filter searches are no longer appearing.  I am unable to find how to fix this problem.  I am using LR 5.2 on Mavericks OS on a 27" iMac.  Any suggestions how to fix this?

This bug was introduced by OXS10.9 but is fixed in LR 5.3. There's a 5.3 release candidate if you want.
