Mint Nikon D3X System
« on: November 25, 2013, 09:47:25 pm »

I purchased this  Nikon D3X New/ Refurbished 4-41/2 yrs ago solely to shoot the screaming sharp Schneider 28mm f2.8 Super Angulon PC lens with. The D3X has barely been used sitting in it's case since 98% of my shooting is with Phase ONE P45+ Camera. Just checked last shots in May were around 9800 actuations on D3X Body now. Also have Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8 ED Digital lens purchased new for $1400 & Nikkor 80-200mm f2.8 AFS ED Lens purchased new as well for around $1000 plus the remote Electronic Module & extra D3X Battery . Asking $6,000 for complete D3X , 3 Lens system which everything is in Mint New condition, bill@infinitystudioinc.com

The 17-55 f2.8 is a DX lens not covering the full frame of the D3x.

Did you mean 17-35mm f2.8?

Regards,
Bernard

Yes  Bernard you are correct the 17-55mm f2.8  ED Digital Lens was purchased new to originally shoot on a Fuji S3 , it is extremely  surprising  exceptionally sharp & does produce amazing images on the D3X Camera, with the exception of the wide angle settings 24mm to 17mm.  When I purchased the Nikkor 17-55mm from Dodds in Cleveland I ran extremely exact tests in their showroom comparing it with the Sigma & Tokina Lenses this same focal length all at f8 sweet spot. This Nikkor was night & day apparent it clearly outperformed all the other lenses.

Hello Rod,
I would be pleased to set up some detailed shots of this D3X system with my Phase ONE P45+  Camera . But hope you won't mind too much it will take another 3 days for this. I am presently under the gun with horrendous deadline due for a exceptionally exquisite $100,000 + new  Cleveland kitchen I just shot. Only 4 more interiors to complete which am fairly certain will take 2 days . As soon as last interior is completed I will shoot some highly detailed images of the 3 Lenses & D3X .
I did see my last image shot with the D3X last May was 9701 actuations .
Yours Truly
