If the printing paper you use will have any obvious texture of its own (as some I tried did), and the photograph of your wife's paintings picks up the texture of the paper she painted on, your print could show printed texture from the original artwork overlaid on the texture of your printing paper -- a possibly very weird result. Let us know how this works out for you. Finding some nice rice paper without texture, and adding some translucent inkAid to make it inkjet-receptive, might be a good solution. --Barbara
