Color printing problems
« on: November 18, 2013, 01:27:07 pm »

I print regular photos using color management system including a calibrated monitor and good Printing profiles  that I use consistently with very accurate results.

I am now applying the same method to Fractal Images i Created using some new software.

When I apply the same method to the these images, huge adjustments are needed in Brightness, Contrast and color to match what I see on the screen.

What is different about these images—any clues or insight you can provide??

Posting a problem image, or at least part of it, retaining the original color space, would probably help.

What printer and paper are you using?

When you say 'Fractal Images', you are using initial capital letters, is the a proprietary name for them, or are they just fractal images?

If you are comparing images taken with a camera and images generated by software, the software images could very easily have much more color out of gamut than a photo.
