Lisbon scenes
« on: November 18, 2013, 04:21:09 am »

Good morning,

Just some views from Lisbon, my hometown. I just love to wander through the old quarters. Especially now during Autumn (or is it Fall :). the sunsets have some beautiful colours.

Regards.

Paulo,

Lisboa has tremendous potential, especially for street photography.  Was the second image taken from Miradour?

Nice ones, especially #3. I am struck by the lack of dazzling streetlights. Or did you take them out?

Thanks everyone, it is indeed a beautiful city, especially with nice autumn light.

Photos #2 and #3 are taken form the Senhora do Monte Miradouro, the highest belvedere that overlooks downtown, the castle, and the river.

I am not sure if later on there are more dazzling lights in downtown, I suspect not. At the time photo #3 was taken, around sunset, the lights were coming on in some of the houses and streets. The scene was recorded as is.
