Flash extension cable for Fuji X series Cameras
«

Does anyone know if there is flash extension cable for the Fuji X system, one like Canon and Nikon have which allow the user to hand hold the flash for more directional shooting? I don't want to use the pocket wizard type setup, just need to get the flash off the camera.
Thanks

Paul, try this:

No, I haven't tried it on my X-Pro 1 but was also looking into getting one.

I use the one for my canons and they work great.

I have a call into B&H, as it seems that they only offer the one cable and it works with Nikon, Canon or Fuji, but this doesn't seem possible?
Are there 3 different specific cables?
Thanks

The cable just carries the signal. So long as it has the correct contact points it'll work fine.
My Nikon SC-17 has contact points that match the Fuji hot shoe (plus an extra contact point). I don't have a Fuji flash to check this with, but it should be perfectly capable of getting a Fuji flash off camera and maintaining TTL operation.

I respectfully beg to differ, you want a Canon compatible cable for Fuji, not a Nikon. I've used third party cables from Amazon, they work fine.
