You did a great job converting to greyscale, but your subject seems to lack interest - at least for me. The texture just isn't enough to draw me in.

I like it. I think I'd like it more if the structure sloping down to the water on the left weren't cut off, but I imagine you had your reasons.

It looks like a structure with possibilities. Perhaps an angle that produced more reflections?

To me, it would work better if there was more space above, to allow the pier to breathe a bit more.
