The problem is that if you use the art mode, then the camera self-destructs.   :'(

I repeat. I did not, myself, use an art mode. The camera, as part of its self immolation art project, took this shot and then expired.

All I did was cradle it in my hands as it past away, following creation of its masterwork.

By publishing the image I am simply paying tribute to an entity that died for its art.

Try Oil Paint in Photoshop with low shine (.2 or so) and play with other settings.  You can get very close I think. YMMV

Where do old front page images go?  I don't see any way to find them ... or is that deliberate?
