Thanks Chris. I hadn't seen the X pro 1, it looks very similar to the X-E2, how do they differ besides the optical OVF? Will they have the same sensor or is the X-E2 forecasted to be a better sensor?
Basically its the same sensor technology, but The E2 has on-chip phase detection pixels for a much improved autofocus.
For the X pro 1 and The E1 the sensor is called "EXR Processor Pro" and for the E2 "EXR Processor II" - so its a new sensor.
I expect the autofocus of The E2 to be awesome, though the X-Pro1 (with newest firmware which improved autofocus) I saw today wasn't exactly bad.
Concerning foreign lenses via adapter, e.g. Leica in the shop their impression was from 55 mm onwards - no problem (no autofocus of course then), but they advised to stay away from adapter-wideangle combos. They were underwhelmed by the results , especially corner sharpness (one side sharp, the other soft). But I don't know which adapters the tested and if a high quality adapter could work with the X series and say Leica or Contax wideangles.
