CO 6.4.2 and Mavericks
« on: November 08, 2013, 01:36:53 pm »

Hi,

Is there anybody that runs 6.4.2 and installed the new OS Mavericks? If yes, any problems running the software? Or any other version of the v6.x

Thanks.

I have not tested it.

But in general I would not advise it. Even if it happens to work with 10.9.0 there is always a risk a new version of the OS will break something and of course Capture One v6 won't be updated again.

There will be an update for Capture One v7 to improve performance in 10.9.

In general I strongly discourage users to adopt new operating systems until they've been out for at least two months.

The new macs all come with maverick--any problem using CO 7.4 on them?

Hi Doug,

Thanks. That's why I don't update my OS as soon as it comes out. There are a couple features that are nice, but I want to make sure it's working before I update it. I don't expect C1 to update older version. I am just curious if anybody installed the new OS but is still on v6.x on C1.

No issues here.

I'm running Express as I don't tether to C1, though; you'd have to ask someone else about tethering.
