HDR Expose 3 question
« on: November 08, 2013, 08:03:48 am »

When I load images into Expose 3 for HDR processing, I am asked to select the key image. What is this?  The manual does not explain. I assume it's the "properly" exposed image, is that right?

Hi Peter,

It's mostly used for ghost removal, to dictate which the main exposure to consider is.
See here for a demonstration.

That link also explains why one would usually select a key-frame that is exposed correctly or slightly underexposed.

Cheers,
Bart
