OMD-EM-1 and DSLR lenses
« on: November 06, 2013, 12:01:31 pm »

My wife is considering a switch to the OMD-1 from the Sony Alpha DSLR system.  She has a Sigma macro lens (for full-frame) with the Alpha mount.  Is there an adapter that would allow that lens to work on the Oly?  Would AF be possible (not a neccessity with the macro lens, but she has some other Alpha-mount lenses)?

Thanks for the "grammer" correction.  Would she be able to use autoexposure?

you don't have any aperture control from the camera - that means you are metering @ actual working aperture (not like metering wide open and then stopping down to take a shot) - so your metering is always what it actually is...
