This may be better in the Coffee Corner, but I've watched this three times today and I think the technique used is just brilliant.  Technically the best time lapse I've ever seen.

Interesting! The way the blurred zone progresses in the image reminds me of some 3D games. The result is elegant and help to discover things in a different way.
