Colorado this summer

I spent the majority of time shooting portraits but did get a few landscape shots going through Rocky Mountain National Park.

I also like image #2… The diagonal light rays - from top right corner of the frame - offer perfect lighting conditions.
I'm less hot on the first, mainly because of the blown highlights. It was a very difficult situation and you probably managed to get the best of it but I prefer the second image.

No question the second is my favorite as well. I had Trail Ridge to my self that afternoon. I was really just driving through at a great time with great light. I shot both out the car window. Since there was nobody else on the road I was able to pull clear over into the left lane to grab the shot. I had to overcome some pretty significant flare on the second one in post.
