This past May in Yosemite. My wife had gone upstream to the base of Bridlevail falls and I stayed downstream to keep from getting the camera soaked.

I'm getting a headache from these oversharpened rocks, but I also like this crazy contrast to the oversoftened water ...

Nice shot. But the rocks are indeed a bit crunchy. Why not back off the sharpening a bit.
