I really love this colourful little species. It was a thrill to get some good images of them feeding on this fruiting bush when I was in Peru last month.

I really appreciate your doling these beauties out one at a time, so we have time to build up a hunger for more in between posts. This one is right up there with your best.

 your images are definitely enticing me to get back into birding after many years away from the hobby.

Another very good one. Just out of curiosity, what is your ratio of bad vs. good shots? To get one high quality one like these, how many do you throw away?
