Question for Mark, I suspect: what governs whether an image attached to a post opens in a new window when clicked? Some just become larger inline. Is it something to do with a maximum long side length?

I'm just curious, really.

Yes that's exactly what it is, I didn't look directly but I think it's a maximum width thing and I suspect it's around 800px, although sometimes the forum software makes up it's own mind (possibly takes height into consideration too).
