No trip to Peru would be complete without getting some good images of this species. They are so incredible to observe. Especially when you have about 15 males at a lek site!!!

Camera Model: Canon EOS 7D
Shutter speed: 1/60 sec
Aperture: 4
ISO: 800
Lens: EF600mm f/4L IS II USM

This is a fine shot, love the eye, and thank you for the exif. I have been photographing our garden birds all summer. Its a genre new to me and boy does it test both man and machine. This is a classic bird shot and how you got it to keep still for 1/60th I'll never experience. Our small garden birds are "wick", a Lancashire term for fast and erratic movement.
